Resin of my choice

I do a lot of prop making and costume design and it has become my passion for resin. The 1:1 mix makes it easy to use, it smells but you won't notice it unless your nose is right over the molded item and it goes away once it dries. I've added everything from food coloring to powdered paint and got great results. When you mix it with acrylic paints it stays a bit tacky but that wasn't a problem for me.

Wear gloves. Be sure to mix well. Work at a workbench, not at a table in the house.

This is a professional level. Mix well! Only use dyes designed for that specific substance. There are many great videos on YouTube that inspire and guide. Watch some videos before opening the containers. You will not regret it. You can purchase molds from Revain or local craft stores. Make sure the molds are made for resin! Before starting work, prepare the cleaner with isopropyl alcohol 4.

Importance in Measure

For making dried butterflies and flowers from resin. Dries completely clear with minimal bubbles that are easily removed with a blow dryer. Dried in 12 hours (my designs were about 5 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick). I cannot stress enough the importance of CORRECT measurements in this and all resin projects. New Epoxy User

I am new to epoxy and find this product very easy to use. I've seen other reviews from users of this brand that the covers get stuck and are difficult to remove, but I haven't had such a problem. You need to mix thoroughly to get the best ratio so it sets and doesn't stay sticky.
