Glad I got it with fishing line. The exchange lasted several minutes. It took longer to remove the blinds than to replace this unit. Tip: Center the blinds in the fully open position and pull the cords until they line up and you have a good starting point.

Bought five of these and used one to replace an existing broken block. The new rope pitch control was attached only after the string ran out. When the blinds were open, you had a very long cord on one side and a short one on the other. Replaced this block with another from a set of five I bought. The second replacement did the same. I've replaced cable pitch controls in the past and never had this problem. Not satisfied with product or customer service.
