The price is great, the quality is ok; The paper was a bit thin. The pencil smeared all over the paper and fell into my hands while drawing.

Bought this to throw in my bag and go because you never know when inspiration will come. The booklet, the pages are thick, very strong, generally an excellent album for sketches.

We have a variety of sketchbooks from Revain Basics. They are very good for everything we use them for. and even some inks work. No drag or skip issues. Everything is written so smoothly on this paper. Like a strong metal spiral holding these sides of this one. There was a problem with the paper tearing when I don't want it.

This 5.5" x 8.5" Revain Essentials Sketchbook contains 100 perforated pages made from sheets of 67lb (100g) paper. The back is nice thick card stock which means it lays flat even if you are drawing on the go which is great. There was no price listed when I wrote this review so I can't comment on the value. I am very pleased with this Revain Basics Sketch Notebook. You will receive a notebook with 100 white sheets measuring 5.5" x 8.5" in a strong spiral binding. The front and back are made from nice thick protective cardboard, with the back being even thicker and stiffer than the front. The sheets are thin and light, with a smooth/thin surface, maybe a bit thicker than regular computer paper.
