My 8 year old usually wears a size M (8/10) in jogging pants. I ordered a size up (large) after reading numerous reviews that said these sweatpants run small. I had to return the large ones and replace them with medium ones (regular size). These jogging pants are true to my boys size. They are comfy, cute and soft. The top of the cymbal is a little clumsy (bulky) but I guess that's to be expected with such a thick material.

My child was having a growth spurt and I bought these as a quick fix to a clothes shortage and I am absolutely amazed at how good they are! This is a quality product but it didn't pick up small chunks of styrofoam from the pit at the gym (or SkyZone or any other place that uses square styrofoam to prevent injury) which makes me LOVE them even more! I don't know why it's so hard to find pants that both look good and are comfortable for kids, especially when they're going from one size to another (in this case, toddler to small boy sizes ).
