My son loves this jacket. He carried .

My son loves this jacket. He wore a sweatshirt every day and I washed it constantly. While this jacket is impossible, it seems to repel dirt and odors. We ordered a medium size (8) and it fits almost perfectly (slightly larger but he loves it. He usually wears a target size small). Jacket to top of stand-up collar is 20 inches, from armpit to end of arm is 15 inches.

  • Amazon brand

pleasantly surprised

well, quite pleasant. We live in eastern North Carolina and last year we didn't even wear coats. This year has hit us hard with cold, dullness, depression. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and really didn't want a huge thick coat just to keep warm. didn't mind that he didn't have a hood because he wasn't going to wear it anyway. This really is the ideal density for this type of weather. I am happy. Let's see how well he holds up after this season.

Pros
  • water-repellent, durable fabric filled with insulation
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Not bad, a bit expensive

I like this coat. I bought this for my 3 year old son for the winter (in Michigan). I bought it specifically for the car (because it's pretty flimsy) and technically kids shouldn't wear coats with a 5 point harness. car seat. I have it for getting in and out of for errands etc but not for playing outside. Seems really warm and better than without a coat! It doesn't have a hood, but I agree with that because it gets bulkier in the car seat. He only wears a hat. It is true to size.

Pros
  • Jackets and coats
Cons
  • No performance

Bright Orange and Stunning

The Bright Orange down jacket is just what my orange loving kid needs. I was skeptical about finding an orange down jacket but voila! We are here. A nice bright orange too. There are no coral remains here. Really orange and bright! My child didn't want to take it off after trying it on and keeps asking if he can wear it around the house because he likes it so much. Very comfortable and large hidden pockets inside. Oh and! There is a small storage bag! The bag could have been bigger but I…

Pros
  • Down & Down Alternative
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors

I am 12 years old and I both love this jacket

My son is 12 years old (size 10/12 is usually too small and 14/16 is usually too big) and he is athletic, thin. XLarge fitted him perfectly in a form-fitting hoodie. It will probably only last until March/April, which suits us. He likes the fact that it's not chubby and that it fits in a pocket and he can put it in his locker. I like the closed zip that doesn't scratch his neck and that the collar is slightly snug to keep cold air out. I bought 4 jackets and returned them before finding this…
