It's hard to find dresses that are the right length when your 8-year-old daughter is 58 inches tall and weighs 60 pounds! They either look like tents that need to be strapped down or are too short. It's so comfortable and my daughter was thrilled that it was long enough. Mid-weight jersey, not enough for winter weather but thick enough to be easily layered for the perfect amount of protection. Very pretty garnet berry to red. Useful for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

That's a really uncomfortable dress size. If you don't want to wear it as a long sweater, it was too short for our daughter when it fit on the upper body. Even with leggings underneath it looked weird. It's also very bulky and our 3 year old didn't like it.
