My son needed a red tie for a jazz concert and I didn't want something flashy and cheap. It fit the bill, the texture made it elegant but not too elegant, and it suited him perfectly. It's 16 years old and has a 15" neck so some reviews mention it's too short, but it works great with a full Windsor knot.

Inexpensive tie. Excellent quality. Bought for my husband and it serves its purpose. Ties are outrageously expensive. It's not like this. Great feel and quality.

I need a "festive” tie for a work uniform. I love the simplicity of a plain red tie. Adds a bit of holiday flair without being too flashy. Thought this would be the perfect solution. The initial reaction was mostly positive. Nice textured finish and above average quality for the price; However, when worn on plain white shirts, the red dye stains the collar area. It is better to refuse, otherwise you risk ruining the shirt.

I bought this tie for my son's graduation. I like the fit and length. The quality of the fabric is excellent, the color is excellent. I highly recommend it.

I love the subtle texture of this tie. It's not overdone and it's not shiny. It is 56 inches long and will definitely fit a grown man. If your man is 7ft and has a long torso, this may not work. The quality is excellent and I can say this because my son (6ft 1in) wore it 3 times in 1 week for graduation events. After wearing it, he throws it into his backpack when he gets dressed. I was afraid it wouldn't hold up a teenager on the go. But there is no visible wear. You can't beat the price…
