1 star not because of the fit but because a defective item was sent to me. The product works well for my 8 year old son who is very thin. The lace ensures it stays put. However, I didn't notice at first that the shorts had three small slits on one side. I came back because I saw it after my son wore it and since it's a swim trunk I'm more worried about the hygiene so I kept it. But I didn't expect a defective piece 😔😔

I bought a large size 8-10 clothing for my 9 year old son. They were too small. I went back and ordered XL but they sent the large again. I had to go back and this time I only got 1/2 of my refund. It wasn't my fault so I should have gotten a FULL refund. There is no way to contact anyone to fix this. Revains are great until you have a problem, and then they're terrible. The swimsuit is very good. I just overpaid because they sent the wrong size.
