Stopped working after a few weeks

Cable stopped working after just a few weeks. It was almost always connected to a Thunderbolt 3 hub, so it wasn't treated roughly. I plugged it into the USB-C port on my 2019 16" MBP and it still didn't work. I ordered a different brand cable and it also works fine with a Thunderbolt 3 hub.

Thunderbolt to DisplayPort cable: just buy it!

I bought this USB-C to DisplayPort cable to simplify my home office setup. It connects a laptop dock (Sabrent DS-TH3C) to a Lenovo ThinkVision P24h-10, which then uses a different DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. to another ThinkVision P24h-10 for two displays. It's a much cleaner and more elegant solution than multiple HDMI cables, and I can now connect my laptop with a single USB-C cable for charging, external displays, and other accessories.

Worked for Macbook but not for long

I got this cable to connect a new Acer monitor to a 2019 Macbook Pro. It worked very well for about two months, but suddenly it stopped. My computer no longer recognizes a monitor connection with this cable. When I plug in the HDMI cable, the Mac recognizes the monitor again. The problem is that it flickers when I don't plug in the DP cable. So I just ordered a different brand DP USB-C cable and am hoping for the best.

Is working! Electronics - Cables and Connections

Where my Surface OEM Dock didn't recognize my new 49-inch Samsung widescreen TV, this little cable connected to both the Surface Pro 7's USB-C port and to my connected display port of the monitor. , and Windows correctly detected the monitor and suggested the correct default resolution of 5120 x 1440. I couldn't be happier! It's very disappointing that the Microsoft Surface Dock just doesn't recognize the monitor properly (which is well documented on several Microsoft forums), but this $14…

    Pros
    • Holding my fists
    Cons
    • Long wait

No problems so far. The cable is quite flimsy but it doesn't look like it's going to give up now as I've docked/undocked my laptop with it 200 times and it hasn't even pretended to fail. Will be updated if problems arise in the future. Works with Lenovo USB-C Compatible Laptops and Macbook Pro 2016-2019 - Linux, Windows and Macos.

    Pros
    • Sturdy construction
    Cons
    • I'm concerned about that

Solid cable that fits Space Gray MacBook Pro

This is a high quality, well made cable that fits my MacBook Pro perfectly. The Space Gray matches the color of the laptop exactly and is capable of displaying 4K at 60Hz with no issues or lag. The DisplayPort connector lacks the little hooks that other cables have, but I think this is to avoid adding a button to the solid metal connector. As a bonus, this cable works with both Samsung Dex and regular Android screen mirroring.

Great cable at an affordable price

This cable works great with my MBP 2019 connected to my 1440p monitor. The cable is good and thin. Of course I wouldn't need that if Apple supports Displayport MST.

    Decent and cheap cable

It replaces a much more expensive USB dongle and has worked great for the past few months. I haven't noticed any issues though, depending on your configuration I think it can be pretty easy to damage the cable (like most cables) near the USB-C end depending on how it's bent.

    • Not cheap but decent

Got this for connecting a 30-bit 4K monitor to a 2021 24" iMac. It worked great at first, but after a few weeks it started flickering and then stopped altogether.I called the manufacturer of my professional monitor [was it a cable or monitor issue?] and Apple themselves, their variant worked fine , unlike the Revain it has a push button "connector latch". Aside from the fact that the Revain probably saves some manufacturing costs, both weren't worth the savings or downtime. At least I was able…

    Avoid for 4k monitors

You may think that cables are easy, but any cable will do. I recommend avoiding this cable. I originally bought it for a MacBook Pro to connect to an external 4k (60Hz) monitor. The picture quality is not very good. The resolution is not 4k. I tried connecting the laptop directly to the monitor or through the connector to the monitor. Image quality may not have been very good due to the lack of a locking 'snap' mechanism at the end of the display port. However, I double-checked the connections…
