AmazonBasics Digital Oscillating Tower Fan Review

This is one of the loudest fans I've ever owned. It is certainly powerful and definitely moves air around the room. I liked the remote control. But I couldn't sleep with this fan being so noisy even on the lowest settings - sadly it's being brought back.

The noise level is higher than expected based on reviews by others and compared to my Lasko tower fans. Sleep mode doesn't change the choices, noise, speed, etc. Assembling was easy, no tools required. Overall this fan is ok and I would buy it again but it only deserves 3 stars which is average in my opinion.

I can't breathe hot air so sleeping with a fan on is a MUST. It has a sleep timer and is the main reason I ordered it. The downside, however, is the blue neon light projected into my dark room (I can't sleep with bright lights on either). The noise was different, which one could expect; it's almost like a spinning sound, like a slight suction vacuum. Different, but you get used to it. My roommates swear they can't hear anything in the hallway. Definitely worth the money.

So that was a pleasant surprise. I just bought a fan to spend a weekend without air conditioning, but it was something I use almost all the time. It's so quiet that it runs quieter than my PC on the lowest settings and fades into the background quite easily. The movement is very smooth and moves a decent amount of air even on the lowest settings. Combined with the low price I would say this is the best you can get for a rickety tower fan.

I don't know why this product has so many bad reviews. I had to replace my old noisy fan and this basic Revain fan doesn't disappoint! It whines a bit in terms of noise, but overall I think it's very, very quiet compared to other fans on the market. The wind force is perfect for my living room. At the first level the wind is very pleasant and at level 2/3 the wind is very strong. Personally, I only use level 2 when I feel like I'm getting overheated watching NETFLIX 😂.
