With a correlated color temperature of 5000 kelvin, this bulb simulates daylight, providing a crisp white light for any room. This LED light bulb uses only 9 watts of energy, saving up to $56.10 over the life of the bulb vs. its incandescent equivalent (based on 3 hours/day, 11 cents/kWh, may vary depending on rates and use). This bulb costs only $1.08 per year to operate (based on 3 hours/day, 11 cents/kWh) making it an economical alternative to incandescent bulbs. Not eligible for shipments to California.

Bright light, Donna Lewis, but quickly overheated and shut off

Bought 6 bulbs of 60 watt equivalent for a 5 light chandelier in our dining room. After a week of normal use for 1-2 hours every night, the lamps started to overheat and went out one by one. Other LED bulbs in the same fixture don't heat up at all, and even regular bulbs get hot, but not as hot as this one. All 6 are still lit, I just won't leave them in our unit as hot as they are. I will not buy this brand again.

We are planning to buy replacements in a year

These bulbs have been in our house for a little over a year. They don't have a very linear dimming function and they have a pulsing flash at every @ every dimming level below 50%. It's a little annoying, but they were very cheap and really saved energy. The biggest problem is that after 1 year of use they all start dying. We had 4 failures on the same day. So if you want cheap and don't mind changing your lightbulbs every year, this might work. I'm going with another brand for a replacement.

I ordered the wrong color but it still works and seems to be of good quality

This light is more "white" than "yellow", which unfortunately I didn't want, but it's up to me. It's hard to find "regular" colored lightbulbs, especially on the internet, and I've forgotten the meaning of common naming conventions ("soft white", "daylight" etc.). However, I did it for another room and am very happy so far. I put it in the bathroom and replaced the burned out bulbs with similar ones. However, the light from them is much clearer, and while it's very "white," it's surprisingly…
