The locking clip keeps coming loose! Restocking Fees Apply Warning!

The plastic of the product is hard, not soft. Also, the locking clip keeps falling off. I returned an item within the return period and was charged a restocking fee. This is the first time I've seen a restocking fee on Revain products. Like me, many buyers will be unaware of the restocking fees when returning a product for Revain products.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Upgrade availability

Not as advertised in Clothing & Closet Storage

The description says the bag is to be sealed and the air is to be forced out through the one way valves at the bottom. These valves do not exist! A careful reading of the comments (wish I'd have done that sooner) shows that some customers get valves, but many don't, and they develop workarounds or give up. Take me to the last camp. Don't waste money on a product that doesn't work as advertised.

That was great. We packed for a family of four.

It was great. We packed a family of four into a registered bag for a week's vacation. I even managed to get beach towels and a beach blanket. Four stars because the clips keep bouncing and it takes a lot of force to press them the first time. I had to fold the bag in half until the valves opened and let the air out. After that I could roll it up.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Sad device

Doesn't work for me.

I bought it for my pillow. I love traveling with my pillow but it takes up half of my suitcase. I sealed the bag, squeezed out the air and all was fine until the next morning the pillow was back to its full size in the bag. Maybe one was defective, so I tried again with a different bag. The same thing happened the next morning. My $1.50 Daiso bag without airbags worked much better.

  • Good workmanship

They definitely let you pack very flat

I've used them to pack several shorts and seal a few pillows for storage. They definitely work, but the detachable zipper comes off too easily. It slips out easily when squeezed, but with some effort I've gotten it to work with pretty much everything I've tried to pack. And when I sealed the bags, none of them leaked or opened again. Worth the money if you need to save space when packing or storing.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

Works great for storage and organization

Works great. Yes, the little slider clips tend to pop out. But they're not critical to the product, and that's not a problem once you get the hang of it. Here's what worked for me: 1) Fold and hem the clothes and stuff them in the bag. 2) Release as much air as possible by simply tapping the bag with your hand. 3) Close the bag 85% by hand. Just like you zip up a sandwich bag but leave something open at the end. 4) Roll up the bag tightly and the air will escape through the small hole in the…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Is working. but in space saver bags

I've used real vacuum bags in the past and they've been great for compressing clothes into very small bags! Decided to give it a try as you don't need a vacuum which is a big plus when you get home. The plastic seems quite durable. I bet you honestly couldn't use them more than twice. Smaller pockets are comfortable enough to carry shirts and pants. Big is a pain for bigger items like a big jacket. If you take the time (and you do!) to roll up a large item, it will start to come out of the top…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
