PERFECT ! USB cable

I was trying to find a cable or something similar for the Satechi ST-TCDEM case. Satechi "C" type cable did not work immediately. The Nonda Mini adapter reduces the connection speed to 5000 Gbps. Another type 'C' to type 'A' cable came with a crimped type 'A' connector (poor packaging). This cable came in a box. It is highly flexible with a strain relief at each end. works and does NOT limit the USB 3.1 (gen2) port speed to 10000 Gbps! THANK YOU AMAZON!============================= =โ€ฆ

Great for using target disk mode on a Retina MacBook!

Ideal for Retina MacBook. This cable is what you're looking for to use Target Drive Mode on your new 12" MacBook Retina. Holding down "T" while rebooting will put your MacBook into Target Drive mode and connect to another via USB Mac can be connected and mounted as a drive. On screen. Possible fire hazard

I really want to give this product 5 stars but I can't. I have had two of these cables for 2 years now and they have never let me down. until last night. I woke up to the smell of smoke and found my cable like this. Nothing was pinched, the cable was just in the charging connector as it normally sits. I have no idea what could be causing this, but I was afraid it would have done a lot more damage if I hadn't woken up or been home when it happened. I wanted to give it 5 stars. It's been aโ€ฆ

Fast data transfer if your devices support it!

I have 2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports on my computer, 1 with native Type-A output and 1 Type-C output. I bought both Revain Basic USB 3.1 Gen 2 cables to use here. For Type-C I bought this one [B07D7NS3DD]. I hate using adapters that I could buy from USB Type A to C and then just bought 2 Type C cables. Adapters tend to add problems and should only be used if you don't have your own cable. Both cables allow me to take advantage of the 10 Gb/s offering of the Gen 2 specification. The Mediasonic HDM-U31Cโ€ฆ
