Incredible PQ for security cameras

Switched to this from the first generation and just can't understand how much better the quality is. I wish this could work with smart things like Arlo, but I'd prefer quality.

Excellent quality. The quality of the video and the body

4K picture quality is very good! Although I find that downscaling to 2K and 30p gives an excellent picture! But 4K is still very good. Especially the raw feed if you ever need to download a file. Worth every penny for the price!

Great camera BUT not for canopy placement

WHY don't sellers report that canopy placement causes night vision glare issues? If the LED is in the dome, they suck for the street under the eaves. Other than that, this is a great camera. EXCELLENT IMAGE DAY AND NIGHT INDOOR. I bought it for the road and it was useless. I returned it. He connected to Blue Iris with no problems.

Great product but returning it afterwards was a pain.

One of my cameras failed after 30 days, the rest worked fine. Amcrest's returns system was slow and completely useless. How to pull teeth for information. It has taken more than 30 days since I sent back the non-working camera to finally receive a replacement. I spent a lot of time tracking down the return as it got lost within two weeks just a block from the Amcrest facility. I had to do all the tracking as Amcrest didn't seem to think they were required to track there if shipped with a return

Amazing image quality even at night.

Oh, that's great! The daytime picture is excellent. The night picture is wonderful. And it comes from a photographer who regularly uses $3,000 cameras. I only use them with 128GB micro SD cards and the nationwide streaming is surprisingly good. The initial setup was easy. Now download the settings. The interface software isn't the best, the documentation isn't great at all, but after playing around with it for a while and switching back and forth between phone and computer, it works well…

The image quality is excellent, especially for snapshots. Can be used offline/without internet. The CGI API works fine. You can set it to save both videos and still images on the SD card. I set it up to save motion events as videos and photos to the SD card once a minute 24/7. The frames are NOT frame captures of the video stream, but JPGs from the raw data that do not suffer from video compression. I will not use this with any of the Amcrest online services or phone apps.
