📽️ AMER Black Projector Mount - Ceiling Bracket | 360° Swivel, Tilt, and 30lbs Load Capacity | Ideal for LCD/DLP Projectors Review

The bracket seems strong and costs quite cheap. My only issue is that it says it can be used as a whale mount. While that's technically correct, on my Epson 2100 (which is a pretty average projector) all the connections would go to the wall. I placed it with a 2x4 (don't judge too harshly) and that fixed the problem, but it's ugly and shouldn't have been necessary for something labeled as a wall mount.

First I searched and searched all over Amazon for a mount that was cheap and did a good job. I just stumbled across this by accident. And I'm so happy I did. You only need 2 screws to mount it to the ceiling, which was a real godsend for me as I wanted to mount the projector on a stand. And I also wanted a mount that I didn't have to adjust with 20 different screws. I put this one in place. Made a few minor adjustments and BOOM. I am fine. I have been installing these mounting brackets for Amer projectors for 6 years and I work in district IT support. Not only are Amer units easier to install than others, but you can adjust the projector (perpendicular to the wall, height, etc.) or remove the projector (for cleaning or replacement) with a simple universal joint and Allen key! I bought this to wall mount the projector in our new house and I have every reason to believe it works as well as I expected! Highly recommended!

This was easy to assemble and fitted my projector perfectly. I think its smart design will allow to customize different projector mounting hole patterns. It has a solid construction and allows you to easily adjust the projector's orientation. The only improvement would be a way to hide the electrical wires, but I think that would also make the prop shaft bigger. Update 6/11/18: This thing worked fine for me, but it's time to say goodbye. I upgraded my projector over the weekend and unfortunately this bracket will not fit the new larger projector. I also downgraded a star as my attempt to contact Amer to inquire about acquiring new support weapons/equipment was not as successful as I would have liked. However, the hardware is solid. I chose this mount for my Benq 3550 mainly because I needed an 8.6" spacing (advertised) to adjust my screen without distortion from the keystone adjustment . I ended up getting almost 9 inches. once everything was connected. I had to get other screws besides the ones that came with it, but that's what I expected. My local hardware store had what I needed.
