These are the best full size training tanks I have. Fitted tight on the chest which is what I wanted. They don't bunch at the waist, fit but don't stick, don't sag or sag, and are easy to wash and dry. For reference, I ordered MED, 5ft 9in, 174lbs, 31in wide, 42in chest.

I love the fit. I'm 5'8", 130 lbs, 36" bust and the small size fits me perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose, very good length. I'm here to buy some more because I love them for training too.

Definitely size up. I wear medium sized shirts and thanks to other comments I got a large one that fits well. However, I thought it would be a much softer material than it ended up being. Tri-Blend or 50/50 is a super soft AA material. I mistakenly thought polycotton was 50/50. Also, the charcoal was more of a dark gray than I thought it was black.

This tank is very tight. So I wouldn't say it's true. I'm 6'1", toned, and usually wear a medium size in other American Apparel tank tops, but this one was skin tight. Also a bit transparent. One thing I've noticed about American Apparel products is that the same size can fit differently in the same product. It's better to try it on in person.

This shirt is of poor quality and runs small. The seams are not sewn properly and there is no quality control. A few weeks ago I tried to contact support for an exchange or return but got no response.
