used sheet soft before washing without any problems gave the 1st AND ONLY wash torn to shreds! poor quality. very dissatisfied with this purchase. The dissatisfaction increased because I remember reading the reviews and the seller replied that adjustments had been made to the production to prevent this from happening in future purchases of this item. I'm here to tell you that your sheets will still rip the elastic and become unusable after ONE wash.

The sheet is comfortable and soft after washing. However, as mentioned in previous reviews, the elastic is a little flimsy around the edges. I don't think it will last more than one winter (wash once a week on delicates). If you want something to last longer and be of better quality, you need to buy one of the $15 flannel crib sheets. Also, I have a standard size crib mattress and this sheet feels large and a little loose.

I ordered this last fall when it got colder. I wanted something warmer than regular sheets for our son's bed and it worked out well. They're thick enough, strong, and fit well, but not too tight. They have not shrunk even after several washes. And they feel soft. Now that I'm putting our sleeping son in his crib, I don't have to worry about him getting uncomfortable on the cold sheets.

Winter suited us well. The sheets didn't get as cold as regular cotton sheets and got cozy and warm in seconds. With cooler sheets, our baby woke up as soon as we put him down. Not with these! However, I plan to go back to wearing regular sheets this summer as he is starting to sweat profusely due to the warm weather. a little warning where the child is lying. I don't mind much, I'll probably just buy more next year. Yes, they are worth it!
