Worked to fix the edge of my rug because a dog was chewing on it. Not exactly an exact color match, but close enough that no one will notice unless you point it out. I used a carpet needle and doubled this material 4 or 5 times to speed up the process.

I embroider and quilt a lot and MaxiLock thread is perfect - designed for sergers but the fiber is strong and lint free, don't ruin my machine, thread only rips when I've done something stupid, and my work survives heavy use and multiple washes. Whether you sew or quilt, get a cone of each color, you'll be glad you did.

Good ground yarn. I needed that exact color and was glad to find it. It frays or "lints" a bit when touched, but the thread still feels strong. I use it for hand knitting malas with beads. For this I need to double 8 strands (i.e. 16 strands at a time through each bead) so I expect this to hold the beads fairly securely for some time. It was easy to maneuver and didn't tend to get too tangled.
