Bought these to reduce the same size hot halogen light. Very happy with the purchase. Only comment: the black wiring is thick and if there's a chance you'll see it, you'll have to do something to hide it. I have them under my kitchen counter but if you sit on the other side of the kitchen you can see these very thick, unsightly wires. My handyman bought a stainless wire casing and covered them. Now it looks nice.

Great lighting kit that is easy to install, gives lots of nice warm light and doesn't get hot at all. The hardware looks high quality, the instructions are clear, and installation was a breeze. The lights are warm in color and make the tiles and granite look normal, so it's a relief. I didn't use the switch that came with it, but I tested it before installing it and it works fine. An external transformer is not required. Connects directly to 120 VAC wiring.

These things have come out great. Can't comment on durability as we've only had it for a few months. But these headlights are way better than the G4 tube washers we've had before. Very bright so my wife has no problem with morning assembly. LED so they don't raise the room temperature at all. I ended up cutting the wire and tightly connecting it to the switch. I have no complaints, will buy another set if needed.

I used these lamps for accent lighting between exposed wood beams in my basement. I wanted to space the lights further apart, so I extended the wires with matching 18GA stranded wire and butt connectors. These lights are very bright! I was hoping for more of a "mood light" so I guess I'll have to buy a dimmer. They emit a warm, incandescent-like light that's nicer than some harsh white LEDs. The construction is very solid. Heavy gauge metal body, durable plastic mount with good wiring.
