🐝 Black American Metalcraft 6 oz Beehive Syrup Dispenser Review

I bought this syrup dispenser on purpose because it was described as not leaking. After using it, I found that it leaked the same as the one I replaced. After the syrup has been dispensed and then placed vertically, the syrup will flow from top to bottom, forming puddles on the surface it is placed on. The dispenser looks good but doesn't work properly and is a waste of money.

Bought 120 days ago so return period has expired. Glass rim broke today. I unscrewed the lid to clean the outside as honey kept leaking out. When unscrewing, half of the rim of the glass cracked and stuck to the lid. Just my wife and I, no kids so there was no violence. Made in China. I will be replacing it with a Thunder Group GLTWSY014 syrup dispenser which we also bought for maple syrup at the same time. Either way, it's twice the size and cheaper.

The dispenser looks very nice and appealing. When I saw his photo I immediately bought it without checking the reviews. Unfortunately the dispenser is leaking. I tried tightening the cap and repositioning the gasket but that didn't help. I have now checked the reviews and found that most of the negative reviews are related to the leakage issue. It would be great if the manufacturer addressed this issue by using a thicker gasket or paying more attention to quality control.

This has to be the worst honey dispenser ever made and I really regret buying it. American Test Kitchen highly recommended it, so I figured it must be good. I am disappointed with this dispenser. I use it to dispense honey and have noticed that it leaves a gooey mess on the counter. We use this to distribute honey around our house on a daily basis and I am very happy with it. Pouring out of this jar is a lot easier than squeezing out one of the ubiquitous plastic honey jars and a lot less messy than using a honey pot. It keeps well for months and since the base is glass I can boil it to dissolve any crystals on the bottom with no problem. Works great! There were no leakage problems. A few points to keep in mind (from other people's reviews and answers to questions): 1. Don't fill to the brim and turn completely upside down2. The rubber seal should be inserted into the lid with the narrower part facing up.
