I have used the original for many, many years and it has been excellent. Usually 3 nights + 3 morning rinses. all healed. I always kept a few in my purse for emergencies. Very glad to find this, although it's not exactly the same and takes longer (over 3 nights + 3am). This helps relieve pain. Now I also use high quality sesame oil. A dentist once told me about this product when Oral B was still making it. Mild flavor, very effective and seems to do the job. It mixes fresh when you use it (add it to warm water) and swirl it in your mouth. I'm glad someone can do it. I feel like it helped when I had dental surgery to fix my mouth. I would give 5 stars but it's not as good as the original. There isn't a lot of powder in the pack and it doesn't feel that strong to me, but it's better than anything else on the market and worth the price (although I wish it was a little cheaper) and it's worth buying.
