Description of Amplifier Low Strength Pixelated Channels Antennas

BOOSTS SIGNAL – Will enhance and strengthen the signal received by your indoor passive TV antenna. The amplifier will clear up any low-strength, fuzzy, or pixelated channels. LOW-NOISE AMPLIFICATION – Improves VHF and UHF reception and boosts signals for digital televisions. Also helps improve signal-to-noise ratio and compensates for cable loss to offer a superior viewing experience. EASY INSTALLATION – Connect your TV antenna to the amplifier, the amplifier to your TV, the AC power adapter (included) to a nearby wall outlet and perform a new channel scan - intended for INDOOR USE ONLY. NOTE – Using an amplifier does not guarantee that you will receive more TV channels, but it will strengthen the signal of available channels in your area. The number of channels and the reception quality you receive will vary based on distance from broadcast towers, antenna position, and obstacles, including hills, buildings and trees. U.S.-BASED TECHNICAL SUPPORT – Backed by a limited-lifetime replacement pledge and free U.S.-based technical support that is available Monday – Friday, 7AM-8AM, Central Time to assist with any questions or issues.

Failed to Enhance Signal: Useless

As an electronics enthusiast, I was excited to test these low strength pixelated channels antennas and see their effects on my TV signal. Unfortunately, they were an absolute disappointment with no signal enhancement at all .As a result of my tests, I determined that these antennas are useless and a waste of money..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Failed to enhance signal.

Missing channels after installation

I installed this as shown, running power via a splitter from one of the outlets in my house to an antenna installed in the attic. After installation, I ran the channel search again on both TVs as instructed. Both TVs captured around 30-40 channels. I figured it wasn't enough, so I unplugged the amp again and rescanned the channels. Both channels then received 60-70 channels each. I'm sending this back.

Pros
  • NOTE - Using an amplifier does not guarantee that you will receive more TV channels, but it will increase the signal of the channels available in your area. The number of channels and the reception quality depend on the distance to the transmission towers, the position of the antenna and obstacles such as hills, buildings and trees.
