AMS Automotive 167514 Clutch Flywheel Review

The flywheel I purchased from AMS Automotive was a complete waste of money and time. It failed to engage with the clutch causing issues with starting and shifting gears .On the positive side, the packaging was decent. unfortunately, the poor quality of this item ruins its reputation. Avoid purchasing this product to save yourself the frustration and expense of returning it..

As a result of using this product, I found that the quality was subpar and didn't even last a year. The flywheel caused my transmission to make loud knocking noises and eventually led to its failure..

It was very cheap but worked for a year. I don't like fixing old flywheels so this is the best option. The 3000gt have a stepped flywheel so if the surface is not machined the correct distance from the mounting surface the clutch will die very quickly. I recommend always checking the surface height of a 3000GT flywheel before installing it, even when new.
