My daughter liked the shoes and didn't want to take them off. She is almost 1 1/2 years old and walks well in it. You can wear them with almost any outfit. So far I liked her too. Update --- My daughter stopped wearing these shoes shortly after we received them. She seemed uncomfortable wearing them for a while. Also, they are narrow. My 5 year old girls wore them with Elsa and Belle dresses at Disneyland, they were comfortable and heard no complaints. They have run for miles and still look like new. I found the Velcro to hold up better than some of the tennis shoes they had, very secure. They even wore them to the pool. They are well made and durable, I am happy with my purchase.
