I love these mugs! The slim, tall design is elegant and classic in its simplicity. The sides of the mugs are just the right thickness for everyday use (I don't like bulky/thick mugs) and the mugs are the perfect size for my endless cups of hot tea. I don't know why I waited to buy because my kitchen shelf just loves them. They are modern but warm in appearance and fit perfectly in the hand. Just the right size. I swear my cappuccino tastes and looks better in these pretty mugs. I also have a set of Corelle white winter plates because they are so clean and take up very little space. While the dishes are great, the included mugs are not. These amuse mugs go really well with the white Corelle (a bit creamier) so I'm glad I now have good mugs
