These mugs appear to be sturdy and arrived undamaged. The white glaze has small indentations in some places and bumps in the glaze in other places. The unglazed ring on the underside has black deposits in some places that cannot be removed. These mugs went well with what I needed. However, I thought they looked small for what I thought a 15 ounce mug would look like. So I poured 15 ounces of water into a measuring cup and filled the cup. I had 3 or 4 ounces left. Water in my measuring cup when the cup is filled to the brim.
