Squishy and Unstable Ironing Pad

As a result of using this product, I found that the silicone material was too squishy and unstable for effective ironing. It also took longer to heat up than other ironing pads I have used..

  • Con: The lack of stability and slow heat-up time made ironing a frustrating task.

You need something heat resistant underneath to protect the surface you put it on.

It works in the sense that I can put hot iron on it and it won't melt. So yes for that. However, it also transfers all heat through them to the underlying surface. So you basically have to put it on top of something else. It protects against burns and allows you to hold the iron horizontally so it doesn't tip over, which I feared. So he does his job. Although it's pretty thin.
