Cheap and unreliable/non-functional

I bought this device specifically for USB-C but that's the only thing that doesn't work. I've tried multiple cables but my Pixel 3XL won't charge. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for something that works the first time.

Pros
  • Sockets and accessories
Cons
  • Long delivery time

won't charge laptop

First of all, this device is big. If you have a lot of wires in the box, things will get tight. Secondly, if you are replacing a pass-through socket, you will need to twist the wires since there is no outlet on this socket, only two connectors. And third, USB-C doesn't deliver enough power to charge a laptop. At least not mine. Also, it looks good and works well.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Not as thick as other kits

The front panel is supplied without screws.

This plug comes with a bezel which is good BUT there are no bezel screws to attach it. So you will definitely go to the hardware store. On the other hand, the jack only has two screw inputs on the back instead of four like most. Therefore, if the outlet you are trying to replace is in series with other outlets, it becomes a connection problem. I think that explains why this one costs $13 and those sold at hardware stores are $21.

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price
