Thanks for that!

I used it with a Pro-Ject Phono Box DS2 to connect it to a Marantz AVR 12v Trigger. Smooth! Turns on ONLY when the preamp input is selected. Turns off when the AVR is turned off or the input is changed.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • For the old

Works as advertised.

I bought this to connect my new AVR to the Parasound A21 which uses a smaller input. It works as advertised. I rated it 4/5 stars because the entrance to Parasound is lax but works. The connection to the AVR is difficult.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Something else

Parasound perfection!

Absolutely Perfect! I was having trouble with a crappy 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter and regular 1/8" cable and trigger setup between my Denon and Parasound Halo A21. This cable works like a charm and arrived very quickly. Works perfectly in my system. Thanks. !

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

A good option for Harmony Hub users.

I hesitated to order this one as the only other review showed that they had chosen the wrong cable. Needless to say the cables I received are exactly what I ordered, the quality feels good, the signal is transmitted and the length is perfect. Perfect for Harmony Hub users!

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great for Harmony Hub users

My front IR sensor on my old Yamaha receiver broke last week. Replacing the harmonic blaster didn't help, but I found that it has an IR jack on the back. I connected this cable to it and it worked right away. Saved me from buying a new receiver! I would give one star for free let's say 2 for shipping but again it's very difficult to find a cable so I'm willing to wait for another

Pros
  • Grand Prize
Cons
  • Volume

I wonder how this cable is labeled.

While I'm sure this particular cable has a different purpose, it does exactly what it says it will do. This is the mono cable used on older Parasound models. The device acts as a trigger to turn on a third party amplifier (or even a newer Parasound device) with a standard 1/8" jack. In my case I am using a cable on a Parasound NewClassic 2100 preamp for another brand of amp. Works like a champ. Not very picky about configuration (mono) but works great in this application.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
