Peelable paint, suitable for early learning and outdoor toys

Less than a week at home and the paint is peeling. Washed once before giving to the baby. I am not sure I would want my child to eat this. Also, I expect more from a company that makes children's toys.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Something different

Cheap and dangerous

Just received and opened and the paint is peeling off the toy. How is my child supposed to play with it and not put pieces of paint in his mouth? inferior quality. Not worth the money.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Minor issues

Montessori Educational Toy

My 14 month old loves it. She needs a little help to show where the carrot goes, but then she repeats the process and does it herself. She spends a good 10 minutes playing in one place. We also use carrots to play in the imaginary kitchen. The wood is well finished, the paint does not peel off and does not have a strong smell of paint. Good quality toys!

Very cute toy

We love this cute toy! My baby is only 6.5 months so she doesn't put them back in or anything but I've noticed that she likes to pull out the clothespins in another toy so I wanted something with more pull out stuff and was excited to do that to see! I also love that we can later use it for imaginative play at the farmer's market/kitchen/garden, and it basically serves as an artificial woody vegetable!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Not suitable for everything

My 12 month old loves this toy very much. This is a great toy for baby/toddler to learn fine motor skills and relative sizing/sorting. At first, my little one just liked to pull out the carrots. Now he likes to take them out and put them in a basket and then try to put the carrots back in the right holes. We've only had it a few weeks, but all the parts seem solid and well-made. We washed the carrots a few times and we had no problems, the carrots were thrown and dropped and nothing broke or…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • vulgarity

Would buy again! on baby toys

love it! The day I opened it up for my 10 month old son he played with it exclusively for almost an hour. He still loves taking the carrots out and putting them back in the holes and of course scattering the carrots around the house. If you don't mind finding carrots everywhere, this is a fantastic toy. Love that they are made of wood and look so realistic - perfect for transitioning into a future play kitchen when the child is older. They feel high quality. I'm so glad I found this interesting

Pros
  • this is amazing
Cons
  • not sure

Great toy for early problem solving but with safety caveats

My son loves this toy. He would spend hours pulling wooden carrots out of holes, trying to put them back in, or just rolling them, banging them against each other, etc. The toy is something that has grown with him until he understood the riddle and inevitably that has lost interest. My issue with this item is that the felt "leaves" come off fairly easily and pose a choking hazard. I still recommend it, but only if you keep an eye on your little one while using it. Or you can do what we did…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Damaged

Surprisingly durable! 10 months old loves them!

We love these carrots! I bought these when my son was 7 months old (now 10 months old) and he loved them! He still can't put them in the right holes, but he's started putting the smallest in the biggest hole, so that's a start. Basically he likes to pull them out of the holes as fast as I pull them back. tear them up let me tell you (This is where you will judge my upbringing - keep going as I hope this puts some mind at ease when purchasing this product.) He has 6 teeth and tried his best to…
