🏺 Anchor Hocking Set of 4, 1-Gallon Cracker Jars with Lid - Brushed Aluminum Review

I thought it would be great to keep this head I had in a formaldehyde freezer like in Futurama, but the mouth is too small for more than to fit through the neck. Maybe baby heads? Anyway, now I have flour in one, powdered sugar in the other, and they're good for that.

I've always liked this type of receptacle. My great grandmother had one when they actually contained crackers. She used it to hold sugar. The reason for only 3 stars is that the kids are lined with a cardboard disc. Lids cannot be washed if you don't want to get rid of the cardboard and lose the tightness.

Bought this size and several other sizes to organize all my flour, sugar, cocoa etc. They're pretty heavy for glasses and I really like them. It's a little expensive. You can find them at Walmart or Target for a few bucks less, but our local stores often didn't have the sizes I needed, so I ordered them to complete my project.

As I try to get rid of plastic in my house I have a ton of different jars to store and these are by far my favorites. The glass is dishwasher safe and the lids are easy to clean by hand. I admit that I threw away the paper insert in the lids because after washing they are short-lived and somehow become unusable.
