🍬 1/2 Gallon Anchor Hocking Glass Penny Candy Jar with Chrome Lid Review

This product claims to have a sealed lid but it does not. The lid was thin and didn't fit properly. I love the size of the jar (1/2 gallon) and it would be great to store the candy the way I intended, but the lid has become a disadvantage.

I like this product - the glass is very thick and the product is clean. The lid is strong and smooth. Very high quality. I'm glad I spent a little more on it. It was packaged very well so the glass didn't crack when it was delivered. I am very happy with this purchase!

Was looking for a shower candy jar that was understandable to Guess the Candy and accessible to guests. Many seemed too big at 3 pounds. M&M's but it's the perfect size and I like that it's glass and not plastic. I will have many uses for it later - coffee beans, cookies, dry pasta, etc. Love it!

Years ago I got a set of glasses for a wedding and one day my husband accidentally broke a coffee can. I have decorative wooden lids that close well and I didn't want to change the set. I ordered this and found it to fit exactly what is broken. I found this to be a quality product and not lightweight like some reviewers claim. Very satisfied!

Bought to store lollipops and present to my grandkids (and me). I chose them because they are 1/2 gallon smaller, made in the USA and the style reminds me of how candy was sold when I was younger. I am very happy with the purchase. Although the jar is made in America, the lids are made in China - don't expect anything remotely airtight, but the lid protects my candy from dust and the like. They were shipped from Washington State and delivery was fast. They meet my expectations and I like them.

This was a special gift for my partner who keeps jars of mixed nuts on the counter. I thought it would be a lot easier for him to get his snacks with this container. They fit perfectly under the ledge of our kitchen island. BUT - BEWARE - if you have big hands you can reach in, but if you grab something with a handful your hand can't escape! It's a monkey trap! So we put a spoon in to hand out snacks. way of hitting the target. However, they look good. I want to make the hole bigger.

I bought this jar to make a candy jar as a Christmas present for a colleague - I have my own which has proved very popular at work so thought I'd like it an own.
