Star crack in the dishwasher, never used.

sorry for not returning it in time. Heavy and doesn't hold up much. It got a star-shaped crack after the first wash in the dishwasher.

Wow. Is that thing STRONG!

This pitcher is VERY heavy. There is very little chance of this pup tipping over. Young children and the elderly may not understand this. (I'm 60 and good at lifting, but maybe not in 20 years. I'm pretty sure it will take that long if I don't fall in concrete.

Pros
  • Cutlery for serving drinks
Cons
  • Not sure

Beautiful heavy glass jug

Beautiful heavy glass jug. It has a pronounced protrusion along the lines of the shape, including the handle, making it a bit awkward to hold. Definitely not something you will find in vintage American Anchor Hocking products. (It was made in China. Can't we make it here anymore?)

Pros
  • Home and kitchen
Cons
  • Very expensive

Reinforced Serving Pitcher

My husband loves iced tea brewed in a glass pitcher and it's hard to find a strong one! It is great! Exactly what we wanted although I would have liked the 2 liters but it works well. And you can pour warm water into it while boiling water, and then add boiling water when it's done, and it will deal with the heat! That's hard to punish.

Pros
  • Dishes & Serving Utensils
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says it is

High quality jugs.

I bought 2 of these to pre mix cocktails and serve them in these pitchers at picnics and parties we host. I was impressed with the weight and quality of these jugs when I first received them and now after using them for about 8 months I am still very happy with my purchase. They pour well, stand up to regular (sometimes a little rough) use, handle the dishwasher with ease, and when refrigerated they also seem to help keep contents cooler for longer. I want to say that I will buy more in the…

strong and attractive, great mix!

I wanted to replace an old beer mug that I was given many years ago. It cracked and we're in the tea bag these days so I was glad I had an excuse to get one that didn't say 'Coors'. I mainly use it these days for making tea and serving homemade lemonade. I considered getting something "fancy" but after reading the reviews I decided they were all too fragile. I like to pour boiling water over tea bags, let it steep, and then add more water to make tea for the day. So I got this one and it looks…
