these bracelets don't last forever and I didn't expect them to, but 6 weeks is pretty sad. These things usually start to wear out and crack in the holes after about 6 months. I don't know if it's because I had the Fenix 5 and went for the big watch, but I'm very disappointed in the cool bands for the 5X.

Updated: This group has only been around a few months. It was good. But it's too stretchy and the holes I used earlier broke pretty quickly. The strap isn't as comfortable as the original Garmin strap, but it's also under $50. It certainly does the job and I wear my Fenix 5x all day every day for everyday wear as well as swimming, cycling and running. I've had this group for about a month now and so far so good.

I really wanted it to work. That's a good price, clearly not comparable to original Garmin quality, but not far off either. It looks and fits well, but my skin broke out in breakouts after wearing it for less than 20 minutes. I have never had this problem with an original Garmin silicone strap. The locking mechanism is fiddly to use, you almost have to use the included tool to push it back. In general, if you don't have sensitive skin, this is a good option, unfortunately not for me.

These replacement straps were great. The only way to tell them apart from the original Garmins is to look at the screws on the clasp, and the inner extra loop has no nipple to stay in place. For a month of use there were no complaints, everything is fine. Some reviewers have complained about the part that attaches to the dial, and I haven't seen any issues with the spring tension or staying on the watch. I bought a pack of these and quickly found that, apart from the possible durability, they are close in quality to Garmin's OEMs. In fact, I prefer wearing Ancool Garmin for the looks and comfort. I wear 1 bracelet for a month (24 hours most days) with no problems other than minor wear to the trim on the inside of my wrist. I am concerned about durability and only time will tell. I bought the green/orange OD version of this watch strap. The rubber is soft and slightly thicker than the OEM strap, giving it a premium feel. The strap is very similar to the original strap. It's a bit shorter, has a slightly different texture, and the clasp is a slightly different shape.
