I usually wear size 1 shoes so according to the size chart a 5-6 year old should be the right size even if he seems very small. I tried it on and it was at least two sizes too small. I ordered the next size up but it was still too small. Fur material is cheap, but the bed of slippers is well padded. The sole seems solid.

Bought for my daughter who specially chose them. She is a size 4 and is very tall for her age. I bought the largest possible size hoping it would last longer. She likes everything about them, but she often complains that the back rests on her heel at times.
