I really like this cable. I wasn't expecting it to please because it was so heavy but very durable. It's not very flexible, but it doesn't matter because it comes with a lanyard that allows you to trim the extra cord so it doesn't get in the pup's line of sight or in his mouth, but the lanyard can hold the cord anyway allow me to use the phone while it's charging. The male end is well adjusted, does not hang out, fits well, charges well.

Very durable. I've been using it for a while now, plugging, unplugging and twisting cables many times. (I have two phones, each requires a micro USB connection in opposite directions, so I have to rotate it every time I switch phones to charge. I also use another phone in the car, and often my wife or I will accidentally hit shoes Other USB cables usually stop working after 2-3 weeks, but this one still holds up.

I'm not entirely satisfied because the small rounded lugs don't fit my device well. The plug slips out with the slightest pull on the cable. In the picture, the top connector with the white wire is the original (damaged) Samsung wire that came with my phone. The bottom connector with metal cable is a Brexlink product. The Samsung locking clips are larger and more triangular in shape. I also tried the cable with a Nikon camera and it fit the camera better.

After 2 weeks and lots of rocking they are holding up very well. But I usually buy new cables every few months. So time will tell. What I like is the attached strap, which is decent leather. It feels sturdy and useful, it's not so long that it gets in the way, but it has enough room to wrap the cable in a relatively small bag. The connectors are strong and the strain relief is very good. I ordered these BrexLink cables (2 pack) to charge all my devices as I need longer cables from the charging station that I have. I have ordered BrexLink USB-C cables in the past and the build quality is excellent. However, these micro USB cables have met the same fate as many micro USB cables I've come across. They are picky about which devices they contact and which ones they charge well with. I've encountered this many times with many combinations of cables and devices, and it's no different.
