🐹 Coconut Hut Hamster House Bed: The Ideal Gerbil, Mice, and Small Animal Cage Habitat Decor Review

My two clowns use it to hide food. Raffles sits on it to get a better view of what's going on outside of their vast habitat. It's larger than expected and was a little tight to fit her space. I like that this is a natural material and poses no potential health hazard to them.

The base was detached from the body on arrival. The glue didn't hold. I reattached it with very thick double sided tape and now it's solid. It can be used as a hamster bath which is why I bought it and our Syrian hamster fits in very well with enough space for lots of sand. One benefit of the base arriving loose is that I reattached it at a slightly higher angle so it can still get in, but it can get crazy indoors (have fun!) and I shouldn't lose too much sand :)

My dwarf hamster loves it! He will gather his seeds and eat them inside. he loves it so much It is well made and durable. You must buy it! 🐹❤️👍🏻Update: After a few months of use, we noticed that our hamsters' habitat smelled bad. I realized that he had peed in the coconut. I've tried cleaning it, but that's not what it's designed for. We had to throw it away. Though he enjoyed it, it might not last long. Use some bedding to prevent this. I still think it's a great house for our Snowball!

This is the perfect size for a shelter for my Syrian hamster. There was some peeling off inside the cache, but since it's made of natural materials I don't find that a big problem. My only issue is that the base is glued to the shelter. I was primarily drawn to the cabin's natural materials, so it was a little disappointing. However, the shape of the hut makes it almost impossible for a hamster to gnaw on the glued part and it feels very solid so I'm not worried about it falling off or falling…

Hammy (I know the original) loves his coconut. I received the Hammy on January 21st and have tasted 2 coconuts so far. When she's not walking around the aquarium, she's in a coconut.
