Now it can be touched up a bit but I'm happy with the result

Purchased to color 5 and 6 year old flats for show. I did two coats on both shoes and still no pain in the bottle. They had lessons for about 2 months and a solo concert. Now it could tweak a bit, but I'm happy with the result. You have to be patient when using a small brush (basically like painting shoes with a nail polish brush).

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Rosette required

The flat black is really "flat "

I thought the brown Angelus color I got was a bit lighter than I would have liked so I went with "flat black" . But the color is matte, without shine. Also, the skin became stiff and not as elastic as the brown color I got. I don't know if this bottle isn't that fresh, or because of the "flat" color. Anyway, I put leather lotion on the sandals and they looked better. Next time I'll use the regular color.

No more white soles!

I haven't worn them yet. Time will tell, but enough to fix. I used masking tape on some shoes and 3 types of extra fine brushes. I'm not an artist, but I did a good job. Dries very quickly! This came off with acetone and a cotton swab in one area, I overstepped in the pink part. Looks like it came with a black sole. I hate white and can't even understand why they even make shoes white when they damn well know trainers get in contact with dirt!

Pros
  • Something above
Cons
  • Minor problems

Great way to darken boots

Great product. I used this product to dye a pair of boots that my son hated because of the color. I was able to get great black boots that looked fresh from the factory. I used the foam brush to apply most of the color to the large areas of the shoe and the small applicator brush built into the lid to apply the color to the narrower areas of the shoe and the seams. The spikes came out perfectly and I look forward to future projects with this leather color.

Flat Black Paint covered white soles with little effort!

I bought this color to paint the soles of newly bought shoes. The shoes had white soles (more of a dull white) which I didn't find appealing. I decided to paint them black and after reading the reviews about this black paint I decided to give it a try. I had never painted shoe soles before so I was worried but it turned out great! I used the sponge brush to apply the paint and the brush that was on the bottle cap to touch it up. A little has come a long way. After varnishing both soles I still…

Are you looking for color for leather shoes for the first time?

This was my first time using Angelus Black Acrylic Leather Paint and it was very easy to use. If you are also a beginner, you must know that if you want to do the job properly, you must start with the preparation of the leather and the Angelus delglazer. It's basically acetone, also known as nail polish remover. This will help your paint adhere better to the area you want to paint. Then finish with an acrylic finisher. Okay, now that that's not the case, let me talk about what I used this…
