Pictures in the description are misleading. The rug is felt only, not the shaggy look on the product image. As you can see, it will be difficult for a medium sized cat to climb into the upper cat house. A medium-sized cat cannot stretch at all with a scratching post. At the same time, it was easy to assemble and the balls were fun.

It is very small. comically small. There's no way an adult cat will fit in or on this thing. Our cat is not big at all. Probably 8 pounds and couldn't fit in or on top. It was normal for a kitten, but not for a cat. Very easy to assemble but I'm sending it back as it hasn't been used as it doesn't fit (at all).

I was very happy to get this as some reviews said it was small. Like the size of a kitten is small. We just got a rescue kitten and I thought she'd like to run away somewhere. she hates it It's very small inside and there are pillars that make the interior space even smaller. This is good quality. I'll probably end up donating it to the cat rescue that we got our kitten from.
