Well made, no problems with it. He charged my phone quickly. I love the adapter and have used it with my power supply. Doesn't make noise or get hot. I use it with a phone case I got from Revain for wireless charging. My guess is that the people who were having problems were using the product incorrectly.

I have ordered two of these - one for home/travel and one for work. I have an Otterbox Pop Symmetry case and the phone will not charge with or without the Popsocket attached. I removed the case and the phone charged horizontally, but the magnet fell off when I lifted the phone or held it vertically. Also absolutely unsuitable as a charging pad.

I'm a big fan of anchor products. This is the first time I have been seriously disappointed with one of their products. This charger will not charge at the 15W rate set by the genuine MagSafe charger. It's also larger than a real MagSafe charger, so it's not suitable for mini MagSafe devices like a car mount. i will return it

This is an excellent charger with a very strong magnet when used in the correct orientation. Unlike most Anker products that have the Anker logo facing up, this one works best with the logo facing down. I had no problems at all with it staying attached to my iPhone 12 through the case. I would contest any negative reviews. see if they are using the charger properly. If you are looking for a safe charger, buy it now!

Having used Qi wireless charging on Android and Windows devices for many years before Apple jumped on the bandwagon, I was curious about the value of adding Magnet to understand wireless communication. If you don't have a bulky/incompatible case, you can use smaller chargers that are always aimed at the mobile device's antenna. The only thing I would have liked for this charger was a longer cord.

As others have noted this works great when used as intended. 1) This is a magnetic charger for iPhone MagSafe. 2) Although not intuitive, when placed on the phone, the logo faces outward. So if you have a newer iPhone with MagSafe, it will stick perfectly, even when used and moved. Warm. It gets very hot every time I use it.
