As others have noted this works great when used as intended. 1) This is a magnetic charger for iPhone MagSafe. 2) Although not intuitive, when placed on the phone, the logo faces outward. So if you have a newer iPhone with MagSafe, it will stick perfectly, even when used and moved. Warm. It gets very hot every time I use it. HOWEVER, I also have two Apple branded MagSafe chargers and they get noticeably hotter with each use. I've come to terms with the fact that this is a universal problem with iPhone wireless at the moment. Comparison with Apple branded version. - It comes with a longer cable, which makes a big difference in everyday use - It comes with a USB adapter so you can use old bricks if you don't have USB-C at the moment - The charging puck itself is soft rubberized surface. It's more comfortable to hold while charging and doesn't make the loud clunk that an Apple charger makes when placed on a countertop. Lower price. Yes, it does get warm, but less so than other wireless chargers I've used.
