Anchor what happened?

Always read. ALWAYS been number one for Anker products but lately I don't know what's up with them. The cable is also short-lived. Many quality defects and so on. They are not cheap, but they were peaceful, now they constantly have several versions, neither cheap nor bad. Here's another cable treat right when you need it most on vacation. Of course. Update: what's pending is the customer support they have. I exchanged the cable for a new one

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Hard to say

This is a charging cable, not a USB data cable

I originally bought this cable for a USB 3.2 1x2 (old name is USB 3.1) 10Gbps application but found out that it was TX- Wires/RX skips . However, it is connected to an older USB 2.0 and runs at 480 Mbit/s without any problems. It works well with USB 2.0 at this length and of course serves to connect the charger to the device, which this cable does up to 3A. I've been using Anker cables for years and they typically last about two years of abuse from a couple of teenagers.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Long wait

Anker is a great company!

I really like this company because they are willing to listen to feedback and work with you. The only thing that should warn people against buying a longer USB 3 cable is that if you are looking for the fastest SSD transfer, such a long cable can limit 30MB and 6ft is about 160-180 , then 3 feet can reach 600+, so your cable length matters. With Anker, this isn't a quality issue at all, it's a USB limitation. But this company is truly amazing with feedback, refunds and communication!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

its anchor, powerful and robust. Easy charging. NOT woven.

Pros: long enough to stay where I need it. It does its job by offering fast loading speeds. C-to-C speed fuss when I find a motherboard with built-in C ports Cons: Not too happy with the shell for the price. I buy anchors for their braided sheath and wasn't expecting this. Nylon or whatever material they used. It seems cheap, like an Apple or iPhone charger, and I'm afraid it might have the same split plug issue. I've burned the insides of braided cables before I've worn down the jacket…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

Life not 25000 bends

It's been a while since I've had a poor quality charging cable but sometimes it happens and I think this cable is an overall disappointment. I usually buy Ankers braided lines because they seem to last forever like the ones I bought as a replacement, but this time I made an exception based on the claimed bend life, length and price. Unfortunately, after 7 months of owning this cable, some "fine tuning" is now needed. to charge my phone and the cable next to the charging port showed signs of…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

The service life does not exceed 25,000 bends.

Absolute waste, good for cables and accessories

Exactly what the name says. I bought this in late February to replace the last Macbook POS charger I bought from Revain a few months earlier. Didn't charge unless wiggled for months and the cord was severely cut in a month exposing the wires so I had to tape it down. Now (3 months later and conveniently after the return window had closed) the end of the charger actually stuck into my Macbook's charging port, detached from the charging cable and had to be pulled out with pliers. I don't…

Pros
  • Better grip: Textured grooves on the cable head provide better grip and make it easier to put on and pull.
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

The connector falls right out of the box. Extra Rigid Cable

I've been using Anker's Micro USB and USB-C USB cables for a long time and they've all been my best cable choices in the past. This time I chose the new Power Line III and was immediately disappointed. The connector is loose and easily falls out of the phone and charger all the time, all my old power lines and even the factory cables fit fine so I know it's not a USB connector. Also for a USB cable, even at 10 feet, the cable is incredibly stiff and doesn't flex like it should. In fact, it's…

Pros
  • What's in the box: PowerLine III USB-C to USB-C 2.0 cable (10ft), Welcome Guide, hassle-free lifetime warranty, and friendly customer service.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
