One of my cats loves this den when it's cold. She crawls right in and purrs until she falls asleep. Another prefers to sleep under the covers, but not because the bed is bad. She just loves my blanket. The fur around the hole is a little prickly to me, but that doesn't bother the cat. The pad is easy to remove and works great in my old agitator washing machine. If your cats love to dig, buy this.

Our little dog was the smallest in the litter and naturally thin. He gets cold easily, so this bed is his favorite spot. Sturdy construction that won't collapse like other thinner beds. I rolled up a small blanket and twisted the edges, covered it with another fluffy blanket for him to snuggle into. This is not necessary because the bed is already equipped with a good pillow. Very important!

I've had this bed for about a week now and it's been a favorite spot for our cats and dogs all the time. As soon as the bed arrived our dog jumped in and napped for several hours. The cats were too big for the bed. I can't find a bigger bed. I regretted not having kept my bed, as two feral cats had just become mothers down the street, each having five kittens. I found out about the kittens when the bed was already being sent back. I also found out that there was a cancer warning on the label. Kittens are likely to outgrow the bed before being exposed to too much. I have since bought heat discs but the new kittens are not using them yet. I don't know if those kittens…
