Despite the XL designation, these gloves are tiny. Stretching to the extent that it can be worn on the hands must compromise the protective ability of the glove. It looks like it could use minor cuts, but I didn't want to test it on anything potentially serious with my hand inside. Designed for sheet metal workers, this glove is designed for cuts, not stabs.

These gloves allow metal shavings and shavings to run right through the gloves and into my fingers. That's not what I wanted. Metal splinters cause incredible pain when they penetrate gloves and get into your hands and fingers. Also, picking metal shavings from your fingers is a lot of work and pain. I would not recommend these gloves to anyone trying to protect their hands and fingers from small, sharp metal objects.

I work in a grocery store and prefer to wear gloves when storing merchandise. These gloves offer some thermal protection, but the reason I really like them is the materials. Due to Kevlar and theft, these gloves (yes, I tested them) can take a few nicks with a utility knife before they go through. Cut protection is a big plus, especially in retail.
