I wanted a light, breathable duvet for my husband who likes to sleep. I think they sent us the wrong one. It's the heaviest thing we've ever put on a bed. It could be a weighted blanket. All in all not uncomfortable, but very hot. We'll have to buy another thin one in a few weeks when the weather warms up.

I like to wrap myself in blankets so I bought a king size comforter for my king size mattress. The blanket looks quite thin, but feels very nice and fluffy. I put it in the dryer for 10 minutes with a few drying balls to fluff it up after unwrapping it. My only complaint is that I overheat even though I bought the "Lite" version and sleep around 58 degrees in my room.

I read reviews, compared several Revain duvets and chose this duvet because I said it wouldn't "roast" me while I slept. It can be 58 degrees at night, my AC is on 68, the ceiling fan is on, I sleep in shorts and a sports bra, and I'll STILL be rolling sweat off my chest with wet sheets. I was never seen as a hot-tempered person, but this blanket changed me. Of course I can't keep this on my bed after March.

We tried a few comforters before finding this one as ideally we were trying to find something light for summer. It is definitely more "all year round” and too warm for the summer months. We keep our apartment at 72 degrees but having legs or partial coverage at the end of the bed is great. I bet it would be perfect for fall/winter. Update one year later: We used this blanket in the Northern California winter without heating. That worked great for us. It's very warm and fluffy. The only thing that confuses a little is the crumpled lid. It seems that there is some kind of coating inside to keep the feathers from sticking out. I'm allergic to dust and should be careful about the bedding I use. This blanket has never given me any symptoms and I have not seen it lose a single feather. But I would like the manufacturer to use…
