They last forever - innards

This review includes both new and old. I built a computer over 6 years ago and bought an Antec case with these fans in it. This case is long gone (given away), but the fans live on. I have 2 NZXT fans (lasted 2 years), 2 Corsair fans (lasted 1.5 years), 2 Enermax fans (one lasted 1 year, the other "technically freaks out" but does nothing) and 2 Cool master fan (I sent both back as they made a whining noise). My original Antec fans are still running and their two-position fan control switch is…

Amazing fans. for computers and accessories

These are great fans. These are the same 120mm fans that come with some (all?) Antec cases. I added them to my Antec case. I've heard of special expensive fans that are very quiet for overclockers, but I can't imagine fans being quieter than this one. I bought them for about $6 and can't even tell they're on. My graphics card is the noisiest set of fans in the system, including my Corsair CPU cooler with heatsink.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works better than the original.

Bought to replace a similar one that came preinstalled in my Antec case. It still ran but wouldn't start on its own, I had to reach through the grille on my case with something small and twist it around to get it to work. It also had two dead LEDs. The new one went right in (no surprise, it's the exact same fan) and actually seems to run quieter than the original.

Pros
  • Great selection

Large fans at low speed make things quieter!

The pros and cons have been well documented here so I'll just stick with my experience. These are great fans, especially for the price. I installed two intake fans in the Antec GX500 Illusion chassis (7 fans in total, including CPU and GPU fans) and everything is very quiet. I run all the fans on low speed and the amount of air flowing through them is enough to keep everything inside cool, even during gaming. Some people are under the impression that you can set TWOCOOL to high speed and mute…

  • Complete set
Cons
  • Annoying

Antec quality for computers and accessories

Quiet, with an adjustable switch that makes the light brighter or softer. Use as the only exhaust fan on top of the computer case. I'm an old school guy, I don't like bright disco leds.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Weight

Great case fan - internals

I have replaced my Antec 3-speed 140mm fans (which are no longer made but have lasted over 8 years) with these 2-speed 140mm Replaced fans and they are working great. Fans are good and quiet. Definitely recommend. (the side with the sticker is the exhaust side in case anyone is wondering)

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Nothing here

Almost the same, but not the same.

Bought because my two main fans in my full size Antec case were making such an annoying noise. These are the ones that came with my suitcase. The only difference is that the speed control cable on them isn't long enough to fit in the small mount on the back. However, I will not constantly change the speed on the fly. Higher is always better.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Reliability

Annoying squeaking noise

The fan makes an annoying squeaking noise at high speed. I'm not sure if I just got a defective one, but it's driving me insane. It also came with cheap, small head screws that usually went through rubber bushings on the case. I replaced them with my own #10 3/4" screws. The rest of the RGB looks good and blows well.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • No paint required

Works for case fans

Does what it's supposed to. Fired up right away. The lights are minimal which was kind of a shame. It was easy to install and everything, just wish it had better lighting. Just my opinion.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Very expensive
