This thing is designed like a tank. So much so that I had to take it apart and see for myself. Made to last, of course. If I need more coax switches, it will be Antenna brand.

I needed a coax switch so I could connect three different radios to one antenna. This switch has worked well so far. The switch is heavy and durable, with a smooth detent. So far this has worked well and saved the time it takes to disconnect the coax connectors and move between three radios.

DOES NOT PROVIDE GOOD CONTACT WHEN SWITCHING BETWEEN ANTENNAS. HAVE TO PUSH/PULL/SHAKE THE HANDLE TO CONNECT A CONNECTION AND LATER IT JUST CUT IT OFF AND I HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN. I suspect there is a major loss, although I have no way of verifying exactly. I RECOMMEND PURCHASING A HIGHLY RATED FAMOUS BRAND FROM THE RADIO COMMUNITY.

At first I was surprised by the seemingly higher quality of this switch compared to lesser known brands like this. The switching mechanism looks quite nice. However, mounting in positions 1 and 3 does not provide a secure connection when the handle "snaps". Then you have to move the handle until you hear the signal from the radio speaker. Position 2 works perfectly every time. watch the video I will apply contact lube to the contacts to see if that helps (because I'm tired of returning things)…
