7 channels and that's it, a bit unsatisfied

Hooked up to my kids TV. It was easy. However, by moving it to other areas for better reception, we were only able to receive 7 channels up close and nothing at a distance. We are approximately 25 miles from Cleveland.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons

Signal Strength - Audio & Video Accessories

These antennas work very well with two of my four TVs. The Vizios I own only support 15 channels. Now my Samsung, which is literally in the next room, receives 38 channels. I bought 4 antennas and my first thought was that it must be the antenna but when I swapped the antennas between Vizio and Samsung nothing changed. So the antennas work great and even better with the right TV.

TV Antannae on Audio & Video Accessories

We have a Smart TV and wanted to get our local channels, not just Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu so we got this Antannae and hooked it up. It took a little research to get it hooked up and also to be able to connect to our paid internet channels, it wasn't hard back then. It brings some local channels and we're happy with that. Great value for the price on this one. This is perfect for Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and other networks as we are about 2 hours from Houston and almost 2 hours from Dallas…

80 miles "range " is extremely optimistic (rather fantastic)

It was cheap. I had another HD antenna like this for my lake house which is relatively rural but the antennas are or should be within a 45 mile range. Obviously the nature of this antenna makes it an indoor antenna. I'm in a hilly area, but not very mountainous. I was hoping that the "amplifier" would help boost the signal. There are no dice. I'm receiving a public TV station about 25 miles away and nothing else. I've tried directing it in a different direction, but to no avail. My conclusion…

Works well in Dallas

This guy needs to get about 30 channels for me. I'm on the second floor of an apartment building in suburban North Dallas and I have an antenna in my window. About half of these channels are typical foreign language, commercial and religious materials. But I can get some of the main LAN stations. Being from Northern California I think the subway reception is much better because it's mostly flat. I'm sure in Nor-Kel with all the mountains the number of stations received would be more uneven…

Easy setup and great welcome!

Easy setup and great reception! We usually watch TV on weekends, so try to close the cable to reduce the fee and replace the cable with this type of OTA antenna. This is my first chance to install an antenna, it's very simple, just connect the antenna cable to the ANT IN jack (on the back of the TV) and then to the power amplifier (I used the USB power cable to the USB connection of the TV connected ). Select the "Antenna" signal source. ' in my TV and Scan menu you will see the search result…

It works. The seller really tries to please.

I live in rural Idaho. TV stations are at the limit of the advertised range for this antenna, with some pretty serious mountain ranges in between. I had a rabbit ear antenna which received 9 stations (2 regular broadcast stations with their associated decimal point substations). That means I received nine channels at times. Very faint, and most of the time it will be pixelated and lost. Now I'm getting the same 9, but they appear pretty quickly. Very clear and consistent. The seller sent me a…
