i needed a shorter antenna for garage parking. I have a lift and big wheels on my F-150 and that's why the factory antenna pulled when I pulled into the garage and that annoyed me. I didn't notice any problems with the radio signal either.

It was only 15 inches long, less than half the standard size, I haven't tried them but I doubt they will work very well as such a shirt, well below cabin height. They seemed silly to me because they were so small on a big truck.

Great antenna. I have a "blacked out" 2019 F250 and it fits perfectly. I can also get through a car wash without bending the antenna. I didn't notice any change in reception either. Much better than the Chinese gum I tried first. (It broke in half when installing)

I bought this because my 2016 F150 has a slight lift and the stock antenna hit my garage door. It looks good and gets all the stations from my garage. Even those who broadcast remotely. It was a straight fit and took about 30 seconds to install. I'm concerned about an issue that has been reported related to automated car wash break-ins. I will change my rating if I have problems with it.

I wanted to get rid of the tall antenna on my 2017 Ford F-250. It was the only thing that would hit me when I went to the garage. I found this shorter one and decided to order it. Fits perfectly with one of the included adapters. Looks like stock, only shorter. I didn't notice any difference in reception, the sound is excellent. Once installed I would prefer the 21" over the 15" for being shorter than the cabin height but I still like the look of the 15".

My old antenna broke right above the base and I figured I would have to replace the entire antenna, cable and everything else which would be quite a tedious job as my cable is well covered by my dash. twisted a short connector sticking out of the base and just screwed this antenna on. I park my F250 in the garage and hate the sound of the stock antenna on the garage door when I drive in and out. Many aftermarket antenna reviews state that signal loss is a disadvantage outside of urban areas. I fitted these to the Ford F150 FX4 in 2007 with a 4 inch rise.
