Review on AntennaMastsRus - 15 Inch Black Antenna for Ford F-Series Trucks and Raptor (1950-2021) by Steven Adams

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It looked great and I didn't notice much change in .

I fitted these to the Ford F150 FX4 in 2007 with a 4 inch rise. I'm tired of walking through garages and hitting every joist in my way; not to mention driving down the street, hitting every branch that hung even a little low. It looked great and I didn't notice much change in radio reception. During the day I listen to both AM and FM radio stations. I even drove through the car a few times, there were no problems at all. But then, after about 10 trips to a car wash, the antenna at the base broke. As stated in another review, the metal appears to be of slightly lower quality. It appears porous rather than solid metal. My OEM antenna has been through the same car wash since 2007 (that's 11 years old) and it has never broken or given me a problem. like the factory antenna, and the reception in town and outside of town is about as good as with the factory antenna. But if you're planning on going through one of these automatic car washes, be warned.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • There are imperfections
